Tips to Build Self-Confidence

Hey girls! As today is Positive thinking day, we would like to give some positive vibe in this blog. We think that having a positive mind is the key to staying confident at all times. So, we will be giving out some tips to boost your confidence up!

Self-confidence is the feeling when you genuinely feel comfortable in your own skin. It is a skill that you can improve with practical steps – meaning it’s a skill you can learn based on your decision.

Improving self-confidence can take you to places that you have never been or feel before. Having self-confidence can make the unachievable become achievable.

Here are some tips to upgrade your self-confidence level.

1. Make a short to-do list and accomplish it.



Let’s start off with small things.

List down your to-do list on a daily basis to keep you on track. From your list, try to do a few of the easier tasks first. Executing the tasks that you have done will make you feel more motivated and confident at the same time.

2. Dress for yourself



Believe it or not, dressing up defines your feelings. If you dress nicely, you will obviously feel good about yourself.

Feeling good about yourself will boost your confidence level. When you wear uncomfortable outfits in public and people throw glances at you, this will develop anxiety feelings and make you feel insecure about yourself.

Dressing up nicely doesn’t mean using all branded goods from the designer stores. Here are some list that will help you to dress well for self-confidence:

Self-affirmations are positive statements that we say to ourselves. It is a kindness action that you made for yourself. When you state more positive self-affirmations, it will drive the negativity thoughts from your mind away.


Try to stay optimistic and believe in yourself more to get rid of the overthinking o’clock!


4. Improve your posture



How you use your body also affects how you feel. If you stand tall and chin up, you will feel more confident.


Try to think of someone you know that always seems confident. Then notice their move and body posture. After analyzing their posture, try to mimic their movements and practice it with your body. You will feel more confident in no time!



5. Stop the comparison game



Stop comparing yourself to the others, it will only increase your anxiety. Nobody is perfect and everyone is facing different difficulties. Focus on the goods and it will get better - just focus and do your things.
